My first impression of Bob Santucci was that he was relaxed & laid back—NOT SO!

 

On January 25, 2008 my husband and I found ourselves in the predictament of dealing with a death in our family, finding a suitable living facility for my 90-year-old mother, relocating her to Utah, traveling internationally soon because we had nonrefundable tickets and, worst of all, having to sell a house in six month to cover an existing reverse mortgage.  On top of all that the California housing market was very depressed.

 

Bob came to the rescue.  He made concrete suggestions of what had to be done both inside and outside in order to prepare the house for market.  Bob had contacts with many businesses that would do good work at a reasonable price.  At one point he even provided us with some yard equipment and labor (his sons) to help keep down costs.  And all of this happened while we were were either in Utah or traveling.  It was amazing!

 

Bob held multiiple open houses and marketed the home aggressively.  While we were in Italy in early April the house was sold at close to the asking price (negotiations were via telephone), and by May 5th closing was completed.  We still find this amazing and feel that Bob was essential in making this happen, and we are forever grateful for all of his efforts.

I wanted to let everyone know that Scott and I have moved and want to give you our new home phone number and address.

 

So there is a bit of a story that goes along with this move; I will try to keep it brief but as you all know me that is tough for me to do!

I LOVE the town of Healdsburg and have been looking to move there for quite some time; Scott’s  dear friend and Realtor Bob Santucci  has been so patient with me over the last two years while I have looked at everything from kindling to million dollar homes ( I can dream right?) I would come back to Santa Rosa and say to Scott that everything I liked was out of our price range( or what was in our price range was basically a tear down) and would ultimately get frustrated until the next email alert showed up in my inbox with a new set of potential homes to look at. Then every time we would be in Healdsburg (two or three times a week) we would drive by Scott’s old house that he sold in 1997, I would say “ Now that house I love; too bad you sold it before I met you”

 

Well about a month ago Bob tells Scott that a particular house was coming up on the market that he thinks we would love; turns out it was Scott’s old house.

 

Yes we bought the house back from the people that Scott sold it to; and I can walk to the Plaza.
